“Inspired by all aspects of nature. The process of illustration involves lots of research, so I get to learn all about the many different creatures I paint, from the Powelliphanta - a native giant snail - to the plover bird that cleans the teeth of the gigantic Nile crocodile. I delight in the rich detail, colour and textures that are found in nature.”
Margret currently lives in Wellington and is exhibiting her original illustrations and other original artwork at Lockett Gallery March-April 2021.
